HUGE fan of Jim Carroll Band.

Great band. The day he died, I went to see Airborne Toxic Event at Webster Hall in NYC and it turns out the lead singer was friends with Jim Carroll and they did an amazing cover of "People Who Died" as their first encore - he said they used to do that as a regular cover before they were "successful" so they really nailed it. Pretty emotional moment for a rock and roll show.
