yup, this is what we should have on our minds right now.
There would be no reason for him to leave. First, if we had that type of trajectory we would be printing money, corporate love would be off the charts, and he would be a NY media darling. Second, if you look at his prior stops the only one which is a better job than us would be OSU and that job is secure.
Somehow this could be merged with the speeding ticked thread, but it deserves positive points for the optimism.
The question for me is would you rather a dramatic quick turnaround, or slower steady sustainable movement to the next level before poaching becomes an issue? Personally I think a move to the next level makes Rutgers an attractive long term gig.

Do we even want to wait five years for Ash to deliver? If he doesn't win us a national championship in his first season, we should probably just fire him.
I disagree. We should let him win a national championship first, then get a coaching staff together. Then, and only then we let him on the field to coach.
we're going to win the National Championship next year, so i think that is a bit too soon for him to make the NFL jump.

If you guys don't believe a national championship is possible at RU some day, then stop coming to games, stop rooting for the team and stop posting on the message boards.

Don't forget that winning the B1G East would have Rutgers, or any other team in the conference, in the top 5 in the nation and playing for a playoff spot.
