If you could have one uncommitted recruit of those we have targeted who would it be?

Bell or the kicker (Day, I think?).

But fortunately RU will be adding 6-7 additional commits. I would think, not just 1.

Singleton Bolds and Bell as I love savage D and ST's play and old fashioned prostyle smashmouth offensive over Basketball on grass !!!....Let's see how it plays out...!?!

the Michigan fans on the main board are saying they are a lock for Singleton.....fwiw

If we kept Taylor and picked up Bell and Hand this would be a top 20 class.

Singleton but he's going to Michigan. Michigan has been getting a new commit every day for the last two weeks. Apparently Harbaugh set it up that way to be the twelve days of Christmas theme or something. Now they are up to 2 five stars and 16 four stars...

Michigan already has 24 commits. How much room do they have?

Their mgoblog site says 32. I don't know the math but I think they have a lot of seniors leaving.

Lovett - Priority
Day - Priority
Thaxton - Priority
Christian - Priority
Mason - Priority
Nyembwe - Priority

The rest ........ nice to have. BUT NOT priority.

We need play makers! As many as we can get, so to me Bell is a priority as is anyone who can make plays.

I want the days of only have one play-maker and having to cross our fingers they don't get hurt to be in the past.

Singleton as he is a national recruit his commitment would have meant a ton perception wise.

That's just unreal how great that class is.

We're shocked

Yep, Ha. I know it's been widely predicted for a long period of time. Just saw on twitter he had committed. Michigans putting together a good class. From who is left to commit there(predicted) even taking 32 they may be dropping some lower rated recruits soon.

The kicker? I agree we need one but to say that is our biggest priority is laughable.

Clearly you didn't watch us play this year then or know very little about the game. Even a mediocre kicker improves our defense 20 spots this year.

I watched enough to know that a kicker would've have made the slightest of differences in the Mich/OSU/PSU/MSU/MD games. We had no difference makers anywhere on the field after Grant went down. A kicker isn't going to change that.

I didn't read it as a biggest priority question, but who would you take next. Last season a good FG guy probably wouldn't have made much of a difference, never got close enough when the game was up for grabs. But a good KO guy gives the team a psychological boost from no returns and our unit could have used that help.
If we had a few defensive guys from Alabama or the best receiver in the country, it wouldn't have mattered with our qb situation. Yes we missed Grant, but he wasn't the reason we got blown out or didn't score in some of the games. Going forward, it will take a combination of players to be better. Probably won't see enough of a difference next year from the new class, but a kicker gives the team an immediate upgrade.
Too many positions to be fixed on the offensive side of the ball and hopefully a new OC can bridge the gap.

Does Dan Mullen from Miss St count as a recruit? If RU could find 5 million a year, I would recruit him to leave Miss State, and return to his northeast roots to coach here.

Why be concerned about Singleton? He was a great baseball player but definitely too old to play football. And...he's an Oriole at heart. Lol

If Waffle House or Golden Corral comes to exit 9 or 10 of NJT we might be able to get some recruits from the south. Christie should work on that.

A kicker probably changes our record from 2-10 to 4-8. Painfully obvious how badly we need one...
