Texas just lost in the most ugly manner imaginable.
Nursing a 3 point lead with under five to go. OSU has the ball around their own 40 - cannot move the ball at all. Then - shazam! 45 yards of defensive penalties, including a PF for the coach cussing out the ref. OSU hits a FG to tie. (By the way, the kicker initially nailed a 37 yarder, but OSU got docked for offisdes. Kicker was still able to convert second time).
Texas gets the ball. QB does a bunch of stupid things and has to punt from their own 10. About 1.5 minutes to go ... Ball bounces off punters hands, but punter still manages a five yard punt right out of bounds.
OSU make a couple of runs up the middle to clock the game, and kicker hits a GW FG. (For added drama, OSU gets called for illegal procedure with 10 seconds left. Good thing the had a TO left; game would have been over since the rules call for 10 seconds to come off the clock in this instance).
This might have been the ugliest loss I have ever seen. Neither team deserved a win.
