Awesome, perfectly functional interior, camouflaged by standard campus architecture on the exterior.

It’s the way these buildings used to be, because they were afraid to call attention from the rest of the campus to the huge budgets on these things, such as Northwestern’s Taj Mahal.

It’s pretty good. A lot better than what RU has. Our weight room ceilings height make it feel very confined compared to nearly every other modernized Reno’s . Our weight room sq footage is probably on the bottom 1/3 as well

Why does everything have to turn back to taking shots at Rutgers? I guess the height of the weight room makes a world of difference. Now that I think of it, Rutgers' facilities flat out stink.

We don't need opposing fans talking sh*t about Rutgers when we have plenty of home-grown ones.:Laughing

yup cu, anything and everything is used by "bogus fans" to attack RU--facts or reality are meaningless--the grass has to greener on the other side-- or the nonesense from those only recently discovering the history of the college hall of fame ,assuming that RU screwed up --it's so weak of a mentality--just stop "rooting" for RU-- this endless BS by usually the same guys is so tiresome and almost always wrong---if they did get a degree from RU show some ride

A lot of it is no matter the subject, as long as they complain they know people will agree with them.

Our football facilities, in sum total, are very, very good. We have the beautiful Battaglia practice fields, a recently renovated weight room, the Hale Center, a brand new locker room, the Rodin Center construction, etc. While people talk about replacing the Bubble, the bottom line is that even an indoor facility with a gold plated roof won’t provide more practice area than we have now. Scott Goodale built a championship wrestling program in the stinkin’ Barn with no real facilities. Stringer took our teams to the final four and the national championship game without a real practice court. The football team played in a string of bowl games with a 42,000 seat stadium. At this point, it’s hard to argue that facilities are somehow holding back the football program, even if other teams build structures that resemble the Taj Majal, so let’s not worry about other programs facilities and focus on what we have rather than looking at our situation from a deficit model.

I agree!

Our facilities are equal to a mid-level NFL team. As long as it stays that way, I’m good with that.

The blue bloods will always have nicer facilities than us. Keeping up with the Jones’s in that arms race is a fools errand, IMO.

RU66, that was a GREAT post !!! I started to realize about three or so years ago that we have some people on this site that are pretend Rutgers fans, some even have Rutgers references in their board names. Since the changeover on the site and no longer having any moderators, the maggots have completely infested the site to the point that many others who used to post do so no longer or have just gone over to the other Rutgers fan site.

I guess they didn't consult you when they did the weight room renovation.
