the guy played his heart out for three years. He gave 100% each time. We are all disappointed he is leaving the program via Instagram, but he deserves at least not a rush to judgment without our knowing the circumstances.

I agree with that. Whatever they may be, the guy has his reasons. He was a total warrior here, especially last year. I’m sort of over taking these things personally. I’ll just shake my head, wish him well, forget about him, and start cheering on the guys who are on our roster.

CAPTAIN!!!!

He lost ALL stain and respect

Personally think we have better players in place. He sucked yr 1, got better yr 2 , solid yr 3. Improved yes top flight no

Step above Thiam who had no business in D1A basketball

It’s a bad look but not as bad as the offensive linemen transferring to a team we will play.

He runs away just hours after we agree to play a game in a foreign country against a minor school just FOR HIM !!!

Nah.

I might feel differently and have more respect if it was a well thought out and transparent decision and he didn’t announce it at midnight spelling Pikiell’s name wrong catching him and his teammates off guard.

He might have been a warrior on the court, but he carried himself like a little kid this week.

Screw em.

He's gone, I might not like the middle of night leaving, but won't use my disappointment to act like EO didn't put in a 100% effort every-time he was on the floor and exceeded expectations when he willed himself to return from injuries.

I'll wait till the reason for Eugene leaving is discovered and then decide whether he deserves to be knocked or an appropriate move that deserves to be respected
If reason is never found out, I will continue to move on from it and feel it's best that he left
even if I don't know why.
Better to have a player leave that's not sure if he/she should stay, than have someone feel forced to remain on team because of his/her lack of options .
