They were down a guy but to tell you the truth I was not impressed with them at all. Crean escaped a possible firing but reaching the NCAA last year but this team has generally been awful on the road. Their trip to Vegas was a disaster with losses to mediocre Wake and UNLV and an unimpressive win over St Johns. They got blown out by Duke and their best win this year was over Creighton. There was girl behind me recent Indiana grad who laced into Crean and was actually hoping that Indiana would lose the game so Crean would be fired. Says that the team hates each other and don't respect Crean. It doesn't look like that team has much chemistry and they were so careless with the ball. 23 turnovers and many were not under any kind of real defensive pressure from RU. Now in a weakened Big 10 they still are more than likely in line for a NCAA bid as long as they can protect home court but expectations are high at a school like Indiana. Crean may be on the hot seat there, we would be erecting a statue in front of the RAC lol

I have to agree with the premise. They have too much talent to not be better. On top of all this he is annoying as heck.

Excellent review. As I have often battled with BAC over March Madness selections, I can't see Indiana doing much this year. 23 turnovers? Wow! I guess if they hit their threes they could be okay. #4 would be on my bench as he was a walking turnover.

Wake may be mediocre but won at LSU and beat Indiana and UCLA . And yes I think Indiana is overrated. And I read something elsewhere and Crean at least gave us credit for being improved. Better than the old man at Wisconsin last year.

Pitino's agent created a fake market for his client. He leaks his name for every job opening but he's a disappointment.

If he's willing to leave the Celtics - IU Boosters would break the bank for Brad Stevens.....

This is the name that my neighbors from IU always talk about. They say that Stevens is not happy with coaching in the NBA and would welcome the opportunity at IU.

I'm a little surprised that this didn't happen after last season when IU faced a much lower buyout.

I'm hearing that Crean is tight with the IU AD so that may explain him still being the HC.

NO WAY he is leaving the Celtics. He is building something great there. They have a solid roster now and will have a bunch of high draft picks due to the Nets trade. They will soon challenge the Cavs.
