I will tune in to the Iowa game (if I'm not out w the snowblower, lol) just to see catch Iowa's Megan Gustavson, as she is averaging 22.5 pts and 12.5 rebounds ! That's pretty impressive not matter who they have played.

I’m hoping for Maryland to hand it to them. If Iowa keeps it close, that means they are a very good team too. I’d rather have less really good teams in the B1G go clear the way for us, so that we have to just deal with UMD in very tough contests but not a lot of teams. I know Iowa is still very good but will make me feel better
Maryland plays the RU style, running, defense leading to turnovers, very high pace.

Start of the 4th quarter. Surprised that Iowa is so turnover prone (20 already to MD’s 3!). Hopefully that plays into our hands. Very unimpressed with them.
On the other hand, Maryland looks very strong. They run (like we do) at every opportunity. They shot very well from 3 and are very quick. 14 steals to 0 for Iowa. We will have to play very well to beat them. And we get them twice!

Meh, we still have to play the turtles 2x. I really think we can beat them if we don't snooze through a quarter.
Iowa has been hit badly with the injury bug. Their starting PG was lost for the season with a torn ACL, and their 3rd leading scorer is out for at least a few weeks with a broken hand: http://www.thegazette.com/subject/s...elined-indefinitely-with-broken-hand-20171227
Even so, they beat ranked Michigan at home. Given that we don't face them till 2nd to last game of season, hoping they can get healthy.
