Thought it was two weeks that he was going to be out, and it should be about that long.

Other thread said they are hoping to maybe have him back by conference play, but that is not guaranteed

I can't help think did we make things worse by putting him back in the game in the 2nd half when he was noticeably limping.

Redshirt? Might be in his best interest.

Keep him out and redshirt him. We currently have ZERO recruits next year and we are looking at single digits wins this year. Unless he is itching to get out of here sooner (which he could be) why would we bring him back this year?

Because it would be nice to try and win some effin games and not get pulverized on national tv for 18 league games and conference tournament. Nobody's talking about jeopardizing his health, but, Jesus, can we at least pretend to give a crap about the games? I'm sure his teammates don't want to just throw in the towel on the season before Christmas.

The painful reality tells me Jordan is probably gone after '16-'17. I'd like the new staff to start fresh. Not sure what to think any more.

I keep hearing that it's a process. First, Jordan needed "his" players, then he needs 5-7 years, then he needs a practice facility, etc . Unless something drastically changes, this season is toast. Look at the winning percentage in the second half of Jordan's first two seasons once there are no more cupcakes on the schedule.

Wouldn't sitting him out be more beneficial to this "masterpiece" that I hear Eddie is painting?

No.

I just read that Carino said Freeman is out for Monmouth and will be reevaluated in 2 weeks. I assume he will be checked again on the 30th which is our BIG 10 opener vs. Indiana. Most likely he will still be out at that time too.

Any doctors?

Wouldn't the fact that the knee still has pain after rest mean there is a good chance there is a structural issue?

well the delay is not good news but I don't even know if he can redshirt. He played 7 games didn't he. There isn't a masterpiece being painted, its more like The Scream

Injury has got to make him think about his options. Could walk after the semester and RS at a school with a competent medical and coaching staff. Be ready to go for someone's conference schedule in '17. Or he plays and risks a long-term injury so that Jordan can win 1 or 2 games in the B1G and ... ? Or he can RS at Rutgers to come back for Jordan's (virtual) lame duck year?

So now you've decided that our "medical staff" is incompetent too? Nice to know.

If we had a competent medical staff, perhaps, just perhaps, someone would have seen what almost every fan saw -- Freeman was hurt. But he stayed in the game. Did he make it worse limping up and down the court? Did the trainer or team doc try to talk to him or was it a coach's decision? Who knows?
