While yesterday's loss was heartbreaking and everything went wrong on the last play, I think it's not all doom and gloom. And no, Schiano shouldn't be fired. If we beat Michigan State, I believe 7-5 is progress. It's a winning season. If I told you everyone who was out for the season and said Dremel would be playing TE, what would you say our record woudl be. A few weeks ago nobody thought we would make a bowl. If we win 2 of the last 3, then it's fine.

Also it's football. Sometimes you take risks and you look like a genius. When it doesn't work, you look like an idiot. What I see is that we can complete with good P5 teams. Teams that used to blow us out of the stadium every week. We can't say Schiano is the worst coach ever and should be fired every time we lose but not acknowledge the close games we won. We beat a Virginia Tech team that could've been a loss. He was able to win a Washington game, we should've lost. Nebraska on the road is tough. We beat a good Minnesota tam that could've been a loss. We pulled out a win against Maryland who is a decent team.

He lost UCLA and Illinois but beat Virginia Tech and Washington. When you looked at our injury report compared to Illinois it is actually insane. With all the injuries, we weren't going to have the dream season. It wasn't happening. But if we can at least finish with another winning season that's a step in the right direction. People used to defend Ash when he was going 2-10. I don't know how you an bash Schiano for going 6-5. Also Pitt lost the same way we did last week and is 7-4 yet nobody here is saying Narduzzi is a shit coach that should be fired. Hell Ohio State lost a game this year because their QB slid with no time left. It's football man. I know it sucks. And in hindsight its even worse. But the sky is not falling. We have another game to have our best season in a decade. I'm not exactly known for positivity but some of you guys are taking this too far. Unfortunately we had a lot of bad breaks. If we had last years defense with this year's offense, we're in the CFP.
