come on...he's had a quarter. his first series was awful. not saying he's not our best option, but lets see things play out before we declare him our new starter.

Gio deserves to be named the official starter until someone unseats him. Laviano needs to sit down and figure out how to fix his issues as a player.
It's not like we have a team that can win with a game manager, we need a player who can make something out of nothing. If that mean's we have to deal with growing pains, so be it.
It's amazing that laviano was playing. We should have been letting Gio work the kinks out the last few games. It is so obvious that he is a better QB then laviano. I have lost all faith the ash has a clue.

Agreed. How many first team reps has Gio got in practice? Probably next to zilch. He's gotta get chemistry with these receivers but even without it he is showing way more than Lav and needs to be the qb going forward.

Why is it that we have had this musical qb situation? Why does GIo play weeks ago, score a TD, and is never to be seen again until today? It does nobody any good to play 4 qb..
I think we all know that Laviano and Allen aren't going to get it done, so can we just move the f@ck on already?
Gio needs to start the rest of the year. We've played seven games this season and have yet to top 200 yards passing in any of them. With Gio starting, we should be able to do that soon.
Our special teams have been most atrocious this year, over all everything else. Laviano does suck, but this is what poor HCCA was left with. I think Janarion overshadowed any shortcomings of Okruch; now that he's out, Okruch can't just take it easy and leave everything to JG. Special teams have been pathetic in both directions. In JG's absence, the only bright spot is Cintron.

I would give him a shot to start for now. They did better with him at QB, even with the mistakes. Hey, I could be wrong.
