Disappointed that Izaiah couldn't compete, but Griffith finished 8th in the preliminaries and will be in the NCAA 400 final at 5:50 today. Making the finals and finishing top 8 guarantees him a 1st team all-American spot after he was a 2nd team AA last year. Congratulations Jermaine!

That's a real ignorant statement. Races are run on the track. Just because Brown would've been running, doesn't mean Griffith wouldn't have made the finals. Track and field doesn't work like that.

Jermaine was in Izaiah's heat 2, I believe. I'm happy for the kid. Just pointing out it was a nice outcome since Brown couldn't run.
