so you're wearing the R....i thought you were giving up on that
Changed my mind.
We all love Carli as an alum, but she isn't known for her personality.
My real question is "What is a PSU professor who is an alleged Rutgers fan and claims to be going to the game tomorrow doing at the Detroit airport?"
Or for staying off her phone during an inspirational speech from a father about his sick daughter, all while sitting front row on national TV.We all love Carli as an alum, but she isn't known for her personality.

Sporting my R, went up and said hi. She was, how shall I put it...unfriendly. Really stunning though. The team is headed to Birmingham for a game of some kind.
And had another hat trick.she did play an international friendly(USA vs Haiti) last night ya know
By the way, you spelled her name wrong too. It's Carli Lloyd.Sporting my R, went up and said hi. She was, how shall I put it...unfriendly. Really stunning though. The team is headed to Birmingham for a game of some kind.
Sounds like the team is playing an unfriendly and she's in character.Sporting my R, went up and said hi. She was, how shall I put it...unfriendly. Really stunning though. The team is headed to Birmingham for a game of some kind.
Any day you can work the word Pecker into a post is a good day.Maybe the barn door was open and your pecker was hanging out?
That would make me standoffish for sure...
If we learn anything from this encounter, boys...always check your zipper

Oh stop alibiing for celebrities and condoning loutish behavior. They should thank their lucky stars every day, and take a moment to be kind to a person who is part of the public that has made them wealthy and famous. Please cut the crap already. Why do people have unreasonable expectations about celebrities. You walk up to them as strangers and they are supposed to stop what they are doing and be "on" all the time. And when they are not, we somehow are deflated and disappointed.
I don't initiate talking to celebrities if I see one for that reason. Its unfair to judge Carli Lloyd or any other celebrity from these hit and run encounters. They do not know you. They cold be having a bad day. They may have a lot on their mind. They may be afraid if they engage you, you may want to stay for half an hour and chat like you are friends.
One of my favorite celebrity encounters was with Michael Douglas. I like his movies, and would consider myself a fan. I was hitting golf balls on the old edgewater driving range before they built all the condos, and it was a weekday with nobody there. A limo pulls up and out pops Douglas. I had seen him the night before on the show Politically incorrect and he was great. He grabbed his bag and parked it next to me on the range. I didn't say a word to him, went about my business of hitting balls. After about 20 minutes, he said something to me and we had a short and pleasant conversation. I mentioned I had seen him the night before on the show and he was more than happy to talk about it. We then both went about our business.
What do you think would have happened if I ambushed him the second he put down his bag?
Approach celebrities as you may, but be careful in judging them if they are not as nice as you want them to be.

Thanks for responding for me, I was too busy laughing. I am sure Carli Lloyd is famous because of IamBadRU!!Because I'm sure they've never done that.
Do you take the time to personally thank all the members of the public that contribute to whatever it is you do, or do you, every once in a while, just want to get to your damn plane seat and get on with your life?
