Kevin Malast Throwback

Each one of those teams (2005-2008) were great/very good/you know what I mean. He could not have been more "at the right place, at the right time" than that. His arrival coincided perfectly with the ascendance of the program.

Even though, I'm sure many here would complain about the 2005 team (for the Bowl loss, specifically). That was the first time we got anywhere close to resembling a winning team in a VERY long time.

Is he a NJ State Trooper now or am I thinking of someone else?

Kevin’s brother was a State Trooper & paralyzed in a car accident on the job. Kevin’s Dad was a high ranking State Trooper who I believe is now retired

Agree. Honestly that ended with one of the most awesome spontaneous sports moments I’ve experienced - the RU fans doing the RU RU RAH RAH chant as the losing team left the field. The ASU fans were like “wtf? Why you cheering? You lost”
