Kinchley's in Ramsey

After tonight's father's day feast I hereby declare it number one and the best in the state if NJ, knocking off Star Tavern. I may change my mind after my next visit to Star. Bar pies are where it's at folks.

been going there for years and the only issue is with no reservations it can be a wait.

Plus no credit cards. But other than that, pizza heaven.

I'm very familiar with both being in sales in both areas. Both are excellent. I give the nod to Star Tavern for a few small things , one slightly lower prices, Star takes Credit Cards including Amex (Kinchley used to not ), On Tuesdays in February the Star has 5dallahdays. Which means 5 dollar regular pies on Tuesdays in February (maybe January ?). Star Tavern also has excellent Buffalo Chicken Wings, I don't remember how Kinchley's wings are.

Worked in Ramsey for 8 years and went to Kinchley' s a lot. The pizza is always great. If you have room for the ice cream soda, go for it. If you want something similar try Nellies in Waldwick, also good.

Well, Star Tavern is my favorite in NJ, so that means I might need to get up to Ramsey to try this place out...
