Kyle Flood on Sirius/XM Ch. 84 from 4-7 p.m. Listening Thread

I'm listening online and still have Carlin & Bitch Dais on Channel 84 even though the station guide says Packer & Flood.

That's weird - I just changed stations and went back to 84 and now I have Packer/Flood.

I think that KF is doing a pretty good job for his first day on the job. Certainly NOT embarrassing himself

talking about the draft, which coaches have the most players from one school currently in the NFL (Stoops and Oklahoma). Now talking about the ESPN Big Ten prime time schedule.

Any callers identifying themselves as Rutgers fans? Any questions about recruiting NJ talent or Harbaugh's recruiting success in NJ?

All right. Who was it? Lol

Great question but he didn't get your joke. What's ur favorite counting crows song?!! Lol

There was a story that during opening week last summer he attended a Counting Crows concert days before a game

Yeah. The question seemed to be a sarcastic one.

Anyone ask about favorite meeting spots in Princeton

Also if Harbaugh is going to discuss camps should he do it in East Lansing and not wear maize and blue

That 3 to 5 years to be able to compete consistently in a new.conference comment ticks me off. If Flood was here 2 more years we'd be an FCS team.

He needs to find a line of work outside of football when maybe his word would carry some weight.

Surprised he did not say Long December

"And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe
Maybe this year will be better than the last
I can't remember all the times I tried to tell my myself
To hold on to these moments as they pass"

Don't like this one bit. Don't want Kyle Flood associated with Rutgers Football in any way what so ever. And I certainly don't want him talking about it on the radio on a frequent basis.

I want his identity wiped from Rutgers football completely.

It's what the program needs. Any association he maintains hurts the program. Ash is trying to build something here.

Can't Flood just go be an assistant at Delaware or Stony Brook or New Hampshire or somewhere. That's where he belongs.

I think Flood could possibly do a credible job behind the microphone. Although the "1-0" mantra and some of the other things he repeated ad nauseam while he was at RU were enough to make your ears bleed, he usually came off as a good speaker. ...In other words, what he said often drove you straight up a wall...but he generally said it well.

In addition, if he wanted to maintain some connection to football, (other than going back to being a position coach somewhere), being in a broadcasting booth would be where he would probably cause the least damage, yet still have the chance to be a part of the game in some way.

I think flood is a decent dude , that got hired to a job he was not qualified for and tried his best . He just wasn't up for the challenge . I don't feel bad for him , he got lucky and was afforded a great opportunity. That's all you can ask for in life, get an opportunity and see what you do with it . He made a lot of $$ doing it . We should all be so lucky .

His defense of 40 bowl games was delivered from his mouth via. Schiano arse. That debate was hilarious.[/QUOTE]

Believe it or not, he's much brighter than the SEC & Texas callers who called in. This is a great opportunity for Flood to restore his reputation & catch on somewhere (like that Chris Christie looking guy for Michigan, can't remember his name).

I look forward to Kyle doing the show for a year, getting back into the game, and Jimmy Franklin replacing him on Sirius next spring.

Not a good radio guy with the high-pitch, acid reflux squeal. Lack of inflection, and lack of figurative language leave him sounding like a boring community college prof.
