Two completely wasted seasons. 4-7 verse the B1G the last two seasons. Fix that immediately. I’m done

Don't expect that to be fixed immediately. We are YOUNG next year. The other teams are all older. And the schedule sets up poorly. Michigan, Hopkins, Penn St., all away. All will be better. Every team in this league will be better. Gotta grow up fast. In the best conference in the land.

We should consider cancelling the series with Princeton until they consistently get their shit together. Bad losses hurt us and the committee doesn't account for the fact that in rivalry games, upsets happen all the time.

Well then can we play them like Week 2 instead of the dead center of the schedule? Far easier to explain away bad losses early in the season.

Just get better. Seems like everyone else around us is getting better. OSU and PSU were down this year (compared to last) and we missed our window. Yes, AC was hurt. But AC doesn’t take faceoffs. Today the loss of AC clearly showed as UMD was able to hammer down on Jules. The OSU loss was a dagger. I’m not even going to go into out of conference. The team is good, but good is not enough.

We've gotten better too. In fact, our we've come further than anyone. 5 years ago this program was at Shea levels, with a coach the AD was investigating because he made the team wear a helmet color some Mommy didn't like.

It's a marathon, not a race. We are now 2 years in with full out of state scholarships. Every program had them before us in the B1G. Facilities will get built, but we have the worst ones until they do.

It's all about perspective. The person who doesn't have it just says "win". The people that do understand what a monumental task this is, and how far we've come. And it's been far. 5 years ago a team like Maryland beats us by as many goals as they want. Now we are pissed when we don't beat them.

Let's hope things shake out the right way and we get in. As Dixon said on the telecast, we are deserving.

Mullins out today hurt a lot too. We had no other ball carriers. Jules was getting hammered all game.

Our attack next year needs to step up. Coyne was 17 when he was starting, so you have to take him as he is for now, but we need him to mature, fast. IF AC an come back, with Mullins who is a year older, they can be good.

I see the progress from five years ago. I get it. It just would have been nice to get the late clutch wins we needed without the losses to Army and Princeton early in the season. What hurts about the Princeton and Army games is that those teams don’t get the respect they deserve in the polls if they start losing. Those are tough games but they killed our RPI. It’s a bummer

They beat Marquette today in the BE semis. As long as Albany, Denver and Yale win the AQs we are golden.
Honestly, hearing this makes some of our losses hurt even more. Only because we have no one in that room vouching for us. We can only hope for a lot of luck. Maybe just maybe

That OSU team is very cheap. They are getting a reputation. One of their guys butt ended one of our guys in the nuts at midfield during warm ups.

Meathead ball is going to catch up with them.

Well it did this evening with the cross-check to Hopkins’ goalie out of bounds. Brawl at midfield.

It's going to catch up more than that. Someone is going to cheap shot their goalie or Le Clair or hurt some deliberately...and the rest of the league will cheer.

This week meathead ball and last week as I recall you said they played "vagina" ball. Can you compare and contrast those two styles of piay for me? LOL

While the two terms clearly contradict themselves, by "vagina ball" he means OSU sits on the ball on offense until shot clock comes on, while meathead ball means the team plays dirty and cheap shots opposing players. I would've said punk bitch ball, not meathead ball personally.

Making these type of comments are more meaningful when our team wins the game. The loss hurt big-time. The end result ... OSU gets the desired result and they are amused reading stuff like this.

Considering how badly many of our teams are in the league, maybe we should be happy that the mens LAX team is relevant!

My comment wasn't about Rutgers really. It was more about OSU. They are going to get it if they keep this up. They are getting a very bad reputation across the league.

When did Michigan go D1? Wasn’t it 2012? If they surpass us, next year, we have big problems ahead. Sorry Cali, you know I love the program and Brecht, but the excuses need to stop. We dug our own grave this season by losing games we NEVER should’ve lost and now we’re looking at dead-last in conference next season?? Not good my friend, not good.

It's really not. The have already arrived. They beat ND for crying out loud. They have a sick facility. Maybe the best. They have some great recruits.

Next year I expect we will look a lot like OSU. We will drop some games we shouldn't, and look a lot better at the end then we did to start. Having AC for a full year will be great, if that happens. Lots of new faces.

Look at UNC...the worst team in the ACC and is still highly respected. Like most sports, even the worst team in the B1G in lax is like the dumbest person in Mensa. BTW, any word on shovels in the ground for the Rodkin facilities yet?

Cali or anyone else, has NCAA Lacrosse discussed adding a few more at large bids? I would think 4 more would be a good amount. With only 7 at large(and the ACC not having an auto bid) and lets face it a few of the auto bid conferences are not good it would really help the tournament to go to 20 teams.

Sorry but you know me: I tell it like I see it. Some of our losses happened in VERY bad fashion, in the opinions of most, and now we’ve gotta combine those bad habits with a very young team and, apparently, the other 5 conference programs all being loaded for the foseeble future, next year could be a dagger.

Not making the NCAA’s the last 2 years hurt, no question, but we had huge expectations and great chances this year EVEN WITHOUT AC. Not making it this year, honestly, worries me in a major way going towards the future. Unless we backdoor into the tourney it’s a step back, period, let’s all be honest with ourselves.

Yes.

Our recruiting is getting better every year, facilities being built, we have the right coach, scholarships are where they need to be and funding seems close. Enjoy it Nuts, it's the journey. We will get there. The underlying data is good.

“Your lips” my brother!! The thought of taking a step back, anytime with any one of our programs, just scares me.

Just sports brother. We are doing all we can. Rest assured. This next class has some intriguing prospects.

If Albany and Denver get it done today, I think we get in.

Canisius, the 4-SEED, scores the tying goal in regulation then winner seconds into OT, to win The MAAC over 2-seed Detroit-Mercy. The kind of upset our teams NEVER pull in conference tournaments.

I have a theory about this nonsense I really do!!

You'd think Delany would tell teams like Maryland to sandbag it to let more teams in the dance.

6-0 Albany. Whatever was ailing them on Thursday night is long gone. Next games of importance start at 2 pm...Denver vs GTown and Colgate vs Cuse.
