Agree that we need better play from QB.
The positives I saw was that he learned to throw the ball away. Did have that one nice long ball as well.
The cheers that went up when Laviano threw the ball away says all you need to know about his development. To echo the other posters, this style of offense needs a QB that is an effective and willing runner. Without that, the running game is utterly predictable. There was a point in the 3rd quarter when RU ran the same inside zone play 6 times in a row. Against the better teams RU is about to face, that isn't going to work without dominant OL play, and we have yet to see that this season.
