Has he done anything in pre-season? He graduated early from high-school in IL to enroll at Rutgers. Listed at 5'9" 130 lbs...seems like he could have serious quickness going up against 200 pound D-men at that size.
That makes sense. Still should be quick at 185lbs, Equipment and rule changes have made it so hockey has become a sport where the small, quick guys can use lack of size to their advantage. I know lacrosse allows more "stick-based" lift and slap checks than hockey does in order to give the D a chance. In hockey, all you have is the poke check nowadays.
