Jerry is a good guy. Met him while he was doing an article not sports related.
He was a bit of a pr*ck during Schiano hiring trying to downplay fans. He changed his tune quickly when the wind changed. Caught on wrong side.
Because his opinion of the hire is different from yours and mine, doesn't negate the fact he's a good guy.
Who is on the wrong side has yet to play out.
I'm a team Schiano guy, but I can see the other side. I hope he'll be happy to write about being wrong if/when things go our way.
