Less Than 500 Seats Available Tuesday

If you are a Rutgers fan and live within 50 miles there is no excuse not to go....except small children issues. It is for moments like this that I wish I was back in Jersey.

The demand for tickets by RU fans for the SHU game was more than it is for the PU game

This SHU demand allowed the university to
Sell all available tickets to the season ticket holders and RU students

It did not work out as well for PU, so any fan of theirs can probably pick up the several hundred that are still available

I will say this years SHU game seemed to have the least number of SHU fans in the stands that I can remember, which also became the quietest SHU crowd ever because we curb stomped them early on

According to the following websites:

Stubhub has 300 tix left

Ticketmaster doesn't give a number but assume at least 300

going to be a sellout!

It's a "sellout." I'm pretty sure they just offloaded their tickets to StubHub. Going from 300 to under 50 in a few hours as noted above doesn't fit with the sales rate up to that point.

BTW prices on stubhub range from $29 (very few) to $186 for sec. 112. Glad I took the 2 for $20 deal.

Rutgers needs to put in an elevator to the top of the 300 sections. its a hike if you are not is shape. and those seats would sell out way quicker but they sell out in the end anyway most times so its not a solid "investment" . If its great for the fans, Rutgers passes on the upgrade in most cases.

LOL. I'm hoping you're kidding but where the hell would an elevator go?

I got the 2 for $20 deal in the student section. I would hate to sit behind the stanchion. Anyone have a suggestion on what time to arrive?

Something seems odd. Right before 7 it was close to 300 and less than 2 hours later over 250 went off the board after little movement yestersay

I got a call Friday afternoon from my football rep about using their guest tickets for the game if I wanted them. Wouldn’t be surprised if the ticket office pulled most of the available tickets this morning to fulfill those requests if they wanted to help ensure the sell out and to not turn STHs down if they called back after the office closed on Friday.

Also have general admission student tickets in 109. Hoping to get to the lot by 530 and into the building by 630. Will this leave enough time for an ok seat? Haven't been to a b-ball game in years...

If it was just me I wouldn't care, but taking the gf to her first RU basketball game. Trying to hit a sweatspot of okay seats and not needing to sit around too long waiting for tipoff (would rather knock a few back in the lot!)

A guy I know went to the RAC today and was told the game is sold out. People should have been on this much sooner. I am so glad I have been a season ticket holder forever. Good times are finally here again and some of us are finally being rewarded. These games are major events now.

Does he not have the internet? Why did he go to the RAC? lol

FWIW, I bought ten tickets (2 for $20 deal) around 7:45 this morning.

I was waiting for my schedule to clear up before pushing the rest of my crew. It sounds like they ended up buying a few extras too (for coworkers, etc). I’m guessing we took down 20 total by 8:30 am.

Most of us still don’t know if we can make Indiana, but the deal was hard to pass up.

BTW, on the off chance the ticket office actually reads this... nice touch not adding any fees to the order. There have been so many times where I buy a “$10” mobile ticket and have to pay $5 for “shipping and handling” per ticket.

The three lowers in 111 were just lowered to $110 each on seatgeek, which includes fees. Vivd has same three usually they will better price if you call

So anyone still thinking it wasn't a legit sellout? Some of you look so silly with this nonsense. The place was packed.
