We have 14 more regular league games with 7 home and 7 away.
I think we can actually win all 7 home games! By record, the toughest team would be Maryland which is also the last home game. If you look at these 7 games and their current away records you find that 3 of those games are with teams who have yet to win a game on the road (Minn., Neb., Mich.) and 2 with only 1 win (Purdue and Northwestern). The team with the best number of road wins is Illinois with 2 and I think, based on how we played them on the road, we win this game at home.
If we are looking at a clean slate for home wins when we face Maryland, I think this team steps up and takes down the turtles.
Of course, kind of like Rutgers, the teams we play on the road have done their winning there too. But, I do think we pick up a couple of those to add to our total and cue the music, cuz we be dancing!

We need to just worry about this week. Doing win/loss isn’t fruitful as you don’t know which of those teams may get hot. Looking at our remaining everyone is winnable (not saying we will win them all). Prior years we couldn’t have said that.

The 20 win 2004 NIT season counts all of the wins in the NIT.
The goal this year is to get to 20 wins by the end of the regular season or at least the Big Ten tournament. I think we can be 18-8 going into the final 5 games. Hopefully we can win 2 of those. If not, we should get one win in the league tournament.
It is also possible that we get the double bye in the league tournament, which would mean we would be to at least 20 wins by then.
What is interesting about that 2004 NIT team is that they beat a sweet 16 and elite 8 team of the following year..

B1G teams will have a hard time winning 20 games unless they win a few road games.and or win all their remaining home games. There probably will be many teams with similar won/loss records.
