....opening up in the women's polls as several teams in the lower 10 of the rankings or ahead of RU among the ARVs have lost this week. That includes Villanova (Creighton), Duke (Miami), Syracuse (UVa, whom RU defeated), Green Bay (to a 2-10 team), Stanford, Cal, Arizona State, Texas A+M, and possibly a couple of others.

I missed the polls last week that came out on Christmas Day or the day after. RU climbed last week and got more votes and IIRC is 28th in one poll and 30th in the other. So it doesn't have far to go.

Now that our women are 14-2 they can no longer be ignored. As I've been saying all along: just keep winning and the polls will take care of themselves.

Michigan and Michigan St were also both ahead of us, and both lost since the last poll.

I agree except that at least you get the team scrolling across the bottom whenever they play...good PR.
