Having the Mike Rice incident followed by the Eddie Jordan disaster really put a damper on gaining social media followers during the key timeframe for Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.

Overall Rutgers really lags behind its peers in social media followers, but Men’s Basketvall especially lags. Those numbers will skyrocket if we become more competitive and go on a tourney run in the next 1-2 years.

11K for Lacrosse is pretty impressive though.
