Bull:
Season starts off with a win on the road against BC followed up with 2 more wins vs wagner and temple. This leads into a matchup at home at 3:30 (that is a guess on time) vs Iowa. Sunny day, late September and a sold out SHI stadium. Rutgers takes down iowa in a game that comes down to the wire 24-23
Rutgers is now 4-0 and travels to ohio state where we lose 49-13. We come home and face Nebraska on Friday night under the lights and just cant muster out a win as our guys are gassed playing their 6th game in 6 weeks on a short week vs a very good nebraska team who goes on to win the B1G west.
Bye week hits and we get rested up and open up against Indiana at home and win to get us to 5-2. We then head out to minny where the teacher faces off against the disciple for the first time and Rutgers manages to pull of a huge upset to get us to 6-2 and bowl eligibility by october.
Then the brutal november schedule comes into play. We put up a good fight at home vs michigan but ultimately fall in a close one. We then nearly pull off an upset at michigan state followed up by our best game since 2014 at home vs penn state but ultimately just dont have the horses to pull it off. Season finishes up @ maryland where we pull out a win to finish at 7-5. This is the absolute top tier bull case, id set the odds of this as pretty slim haha.

We cant pull off a win at BC in the opener, follow it up with 2 straight W’s vs wagner and temple. We keep it close vs iowa put cant pull off the win. Ohio state trounces us. Nebraska proves how good they are and crushes us at home on a friday night. We win on homecoming vs indiana and then lose the rest of our games to finish up at 3-9. However, the silver lining is that after the bye week gavin starts the final 6 games and shows some promise after a rough start. The odds of this happening are alot higher than the bull case.
what likely happens? We finish 4-8 in a rebuilding year setting up for a 2005 type of season in 2023 and ultimately at 2006 type season in 2024. Ive said for years now 2024 is the year we reach a new level that we havent hit since joining the B1G.
