Went easy on the booze and stayed in the shade . Got home and the cold shower felt great. I hope there were no heat related health incidents at the game . It was dangerously hot .

I wore a black RU polo shirt and a black RU cap because F-you to the heat. I felt great all day. The heat really didn't bother me at all. Drank a boatload of water though. About six bottles during the tailgate and another five during the game.

I see multiple weather stations in the area reporting that it was in the mid-to- upper 90's today..

A friend called me about 15 minutes before the game with an extra ticket for the Audi. Air conditioning. Sweet.

Was real hot.
However not as hot as the Open Practice back in early August. That was 100 degrees plus in the metal bleachers.

Wish they had more Vendors in the stands today selling water and Ices . Didn't see one.

It was so hot at the game that the penguins had to take off their tuxedo.

Hottest game I can ever remember attending. Underground had us at a feels like temp of 113!

Brief shower felt great but right after it literally felt like we had been basted for the oven.

I left with less than 2 minutes left in the game. I'd rather sit in the full sun on a day like today than the 8pm start against
PSU on Nov 19th. I'm sure it will be bone chilling cold that night.

I only knocked down 8 out of my 12 pack of Miller Lite cans pregame just feeling how the temps climb and the humidity.

I spent all my concessions money today on bottled water in the stadium.
Took a nice nap when arriving home.

Go RU!
