Rivera in post NCAA interview said he was not going into MMA and was going to wrestle freestyle. This is from the latest SKWC letter........May 5-8th, Sebastian Rivera and Joey Silva will represent Team Puerto Rico and the SKWC at the Pan Am Championships in Acapulco, Mexico.

Ash lost to Berger 6-5 and in my opinion had the TD with seconds left that would have won it for him. He only got 1 point for push out. Even the announcer said they should have challenged it.

A little incorrect. The score was 6-6 and Berger won on criteria. Ashnault did get a last second push-out. But, not close to a take-down. Maybe Ash didn't realize that Berger had criteria as he seemed to celebrate for a second with the push-out. Never the less, he has returned to competing and looked good in Turkey in February. Is his return to competition the result of Buxton being with the SKWC?

Not incorrect. It was 6-4. Ashnault got a push out rather than a continuation 2 to make it 6-5 rather than 6-6 advantage Ashnault. Maybe should have challenged but tough to overturn. He then got a last second pushout to make it 6-6 and lost because Berger had the last/more 2pt scores. Ashnault was too tentative on his feet in the finals. Looked solid overall.

LMAO, freestyle is ridiculous to not have at least a 1 or 2 min SV. And why isn't it last point scored? There's a reason casual fans and even diehard folkstyle fans don't like freestyle or can't get into it.

The good news is that both Martin and Ashnault qualified for the World Team Trials. Plus Seabass will likely represent Puerto Rico.

LMAO, freestyle is ridiculous to not have at least a 1 or 2 min SV. And why isn't it last point scored? There's a reason casual fans and even diehard folkstyle fans don't like freestyle or can't get into it.

I actually like it the way it is. Criteria is overtime, and creates better action than the one or two minute pushing matches that folk has so often, with neither guy taking a shot.
