Maryland had an easy first 4 games, and have been beaten badly by PSU and Minnesota. But they are 4-2!

MSU:
W-Furman 28-13 (our fans would be ballistic if we won by that small of a margin)
W-Notre Dame 36-28 (Notre Dame stinks this year)
L- Wisconsin- 30-6 (Wisconsin is excellent)
L- Indiana- 24-21 (Ouch)
L-BYU- 31-14 (BYU is 4-3)
L- NW- 54-40 (NW- who lost to Row the Boat, and Illinois State!-but beat Iowa and Duke)

Many thought we would be duking it out with Indiana and Maryland for the B1G East basement. MSU is 0-3 in conference games.

Michigan State is not very good and on a 4 game losing streak. Maryland is about the same. They have not played well the last 2 weeks and are on a 2 game losing streak, but they are at home. This should be a pick-em game when the spreads come out or close to it. My gut tells me Michigan State wins it.

They were never my darling! I viewed them the same way I viewed us. Both teams with new Coaches in a very similar situation. We would not find out how good either team would be until the 2nd half of the season. We are at that point now.
