It’s ok to allow 3s, but you have to make the opposition work hard to get their looks and they should be somewhat out of rhythm...for the most part.

it is stopping that initial penetration.. that's how Maryland was getting all those open threes. MD ball-handlers getting a jump around IND defender with open lane to basket.. help comes from outside leaving shooter open in the corner.

We will need to stop the penetration... which was tough with Husker's Mack in the 2nd half.. we couldn't just play the floor because he would jack the 3 himself.

Saw on the Purdue board the Big record for opponents in IU's wins was collectively 13-29 coming in to today's game. Very weak schedule in the Big so far after one of the country's weakest preseason schedules. Should be few questions as to why they are unranked based on their schedule and sos to date.
