Maryland at Indiana / Michigan State at Minnesota / Ohio St. at Northwestern

Michigan State starting to make some mistakes. Can Minnesota take advantage?

24-13

Have to believe Minnesota is a candidate to fade down the stretch this season. They pretty much can't do anything without Carr and Oturu on the floor, that might take a toll.

This league has parity. Anyone can beat anyone, especially at home.
Winning against Nebraska was huge for RU.

MSU about to close this one out, up by 18 with under 4 to go. They'll be tied for first at 7-2 with the Illini and we'll be tied for 3rd, but things are so bunched up that it's easy to move a few spots with a win or a loss.

I think all these bracketologists have it down to a science although do believe NCAA throws a curve bowl for last teams picked.

Would like to see more accurate seeding predictions rather than picks.

Ohio State off to a real slow start at Northwestern. 9-2 at the under 16 minute timeout.

We really need to beat these teams, nothing special.
Actually Northwestern is playing a hell of a lot better than earlier in the year with some 3 point shooters in Kopp along with Nance and Spencer. Their bigs are not bad for freshman. They have had second half leads against Indiana, Maryland and Ohio State. So expect them to come into the RAC inspired.

Ohio State is still dangerous withWesson and Young up front and those 4 guards that are bound to put it together so we will have to bring it on the road.

Nebraska and Northwestern are playing a lot better and the other 12 teams bring it every night. Pike has been saying this is the toughest conference in the country for years , but this year with the ACC, Big 12 and SEC not as strong , this year the Big 10 is an absolute beast. Somewhere from 9-11 teams going to make the dance as it stands now unless someone totally collapses. You cannot take any night off. We have to get our defensive intensity back up starting tomorrow against Purdue after 2 subpar defensive efforts against Iowa and Nebraska .

yes I didn't say they sucked as I know they are B1G worthy teams. I said nothing special about them. NW has hardly dominated us over the years and OSU Bball vs. Rutgers lately isn't OSU Football. And the teams we beat may have been better teams. IF we play our game and continue to find it as a team...there's no school on the schedule we can't beat. Think about that for a minute.

I agree we can beat anyone on our schedule home or away but watching the Big 10 almost every night for the last 2 months, both Northwestern and Nebraska are both playing much much better and Ohio State still has the talent and play defense well enough to turn things around.
