What does he see that we don't? Or is he showing what a fine assessor of talent he was as Lions GM?

honestly, this lack of blocking, high 50s/low 60% completion offense in a losing effort with a D that can't stop anyone is the exact thing that made this board fall in love with dodd, i figured most would be happy....

If Nova was playing, he would have made a dozen chuck-n-ducks with 3 INTs already. Few QBs thrive in with power rush up the middle. Lavi plays ok all things considered (no Carroo, protection etc).

Obviously not. An they are all secretly watching Rutgers practice because they all know that rettig would be able to complete 80 yard passes consistently in the face of that pressure

Have you seen him throw INTs off his back foot? Have you seen him overthrow receivers? Rettig has a stronger arm and more natural talent.

Laviano has made bad throws when he had time. He's also made some good throws when he didn't.

All in all his lack of zip on my he ball allows db's to react to the ball.

Qb play is fine. Hicks needs more carries to establish a rhythm. Defense has been was it has been.

let's be honest..he has thrown a couple of balls 3 feet over our 6'6" wide-out and threw a couple into the Penn St/. defense that should have been picked...all BEFORE this end game all out rush.
He;s starting to panic a bit too and drop the ball. No doubt the oline has given this team nothing yet again.

How is we play fine? You say hicks needs to establish a rhythm, but how can he do that when the qb can't stretch the field at all? Laviano is not the answer.
