I don't think he's that highly rated. People are excited about his size and mobility. He also hasn't been a QB that long so his upside is a big plus.
Well his hard on for him just came on. I linked an article from Oct 29 stating he just broke into his first round. I'd also like to see this 6'7 kid get under center for a snap or two before drafting him.# 1 on McShay's QB list with a 92 grade.
SEC love fest here in the east.....its the most boring overhyped over rated conference in i don't know how long...who's pushing that agenda...boring..Good game on ESPN2 for those not locked into SEC love fest. Navy up 7 in the third.
If you like that type of O here is a cheap replacement for Flood....I present Willie FritzThe Navy offense very hard to defend against.
Actually curious how this type of offense would fare in the B1G.If you like that type of O here is a cheap replacement for Flood....I present Willie Fritz

Pretty well because you can succeed with less talent. Look how many times Navy has played schools like ND close. That being said, you'd get similar results as GTech. You will make bowls and keep games close but you aren't going to be at the top of the B1G East with it.Actually curious how this type of offense would fare in the B1G.
Won't happen at Rutgers according to most here because it's a gimmick offense. It's not a pro offense. If you like that type of O here is a cheap replacement for Flood....I present Willie Fritz

I wouldn't mind going to CCGs and NYD bowl games like Georgia Tech has done using this offense. In fact the offense hasn't been Techs problem all these years. They just have had the defenses to match most of those years.Pretty well because you can succeed with less talent. Look how many times Navy has played schools like ND close. I'm convinced when ever someone posts about an upset or good game it immediately goes to shit lolGood game on ESPN2 for those not locked into SEC love fest. Navy up 7 in the third.
Tech doesn't play In the B1G East. They have one "big" game a year against a down VaTech. Who in the coastal has the talent of OSU, MSU, Michigan and PSU(granted their coach sucks at actually coaching)?I wouldn't mind going to CCGs and NYD bowl games like Georgia Tech has done using this offense. Funny because we aren't even competitive right nowWould never beat OSU, Michigan or MSU consistently with it.
My bad. fournette has 9 yds rushing........guess he will go for 250 now. LolI'm convinced when ever someone posts about an upset or good game it immediately goes to shit lol
Funny how people can take a perfectly reasonable post and turn it into some anti Flood statement.Funny because we aren't even competitive right now

Haha probably... I mean look at the SMU beating temple post from. Yesterday... Oh well, back to watching the most overrated conference in the history of sports. My bad. fournette has 9 yds rushing........guess he will go for 250 now. Lol
But you can compete against Maryland, Indiana, and at least two of the B1GWest teams to start with. And as you rebuild the program to this (or ANY different offense), hopefully more players would be interested in playing for Rutgers. Hopefully, they'll be able to be contrarian enough to compete against the big boys.Tech doesn't play In the B1G East. They have one "big" game a year against a down VaTech. Yes Georgia Tech didn't beat Florida State in those 2 CCGs. But last time, they were a final drive away to beating them. Plus they also beat Georgia in their rivalry game and Miss State in that NYD bowl game. But sure, keep banging your heads against the wall watching Rutgers run the same pro offense that been run all these years.
So everyone else is advocate but I'm picking a fight when I just trying to give my opinion.
Got it... Thanks.
You're not exactly new to this forum. You of all people should know your opinion is only appreciated when you're in agreement with everyone else.So everyone else is advocate but I'm picking a fight when I just trying to give my opinion.

Wait you want to switch to the triple option to compete with Indiana and Maryland? Aren't we 3-0 vs them already? But you can compete against Maryland, Indiana, and at least two of the B1GWest teams to start with. Lol. You simply don't quit huh? I'm the guy who posted the link to his bio yet you argue, I want to run the pro set? I'd bet a gofund me 10 spot that most of this board had never even heard of a Fritz before I tossed his name out there.Cool... I'm wrong. Run the Pro offense. You win.
Dude, I wasn't even arguing with you from the beginning. I was agreeing with you but yet somehow everyone thought I'm an ass. Now its a problem when i said im not gonna say another word about this. Whatever. Damm.Lol. You simply don't quit huh? I'm the guy who posted the link to his bio yet you argue, I want to run the pro set? I've been saying we should switch to a spread for some time now along with some others, be it read option/air raid. I think most of the board has come around to that thinking lately. It's no guarantee but it's the best avenue to close whatever talent gaps will likely exist between us and our yearly competitors in conference.
That being said, I don't know that the triple option is the way to go. It would probably limit your attractiveness to recruits. It's good if you're tied or out in front but if you're behind by a lot it's not an offense that facilitates comebacks. Could others (Niamatololo, Fritz) do as good a job of installing it on this level as Paul Johnson? Overall the defenses across the B10 (7 out of the top 25 defenses) are probably better than the defenses in the ACC so would they do a better job of handling/adapting to it?
