quite honestly, i do not think this is really a rivalry that matters anymore. Happened over time since we joined the Big 10 so a decade in I just do not care much about this game and because they really have not been good I care even less.

Love this rivalry. Of course if the Hall doesn't bounce back in future years it won't stay interesting for long. NIL and the portal are really hurting them and the future doesn't look bright. So it's possible that in a few years playing them will just be like playing Monmouth or Princeton - another local game against a lower tier opponent that we can't lose.
it was but thats over...the 90s, 2000s game were incredible..that was a rivary, started to decline in the 2010s and now we are at this point
the rivalry started because shu was a success and rutgers was floundering...we could suck but we always had this game...then later both us sucked so it was the game we all looked forward to, then we switched conferences and board interaction definitely declined. I mean yeah its a rivalry more than the non rivalry vs Princeton currently is but I more worried that this game is actually a drag on our schedule

Nah. It was fantastic a couple times 5 or 6 years ago. You’re entitled to your opinion and not liking it. However, it’s in December and the place will be packed and routinely is for more than any other opponent this time of year (translation: your opinion is in the minority).
