Men’s Lacrosse Hosted No. 10 Penn State for Senior Day Friday Night

I hear that BB is going to be sharing the full lax stadium plans with alumni tonight. If so, hopefully our resident board alumni will be able to share tidbits with the board (if permitted).

It’s a two phase build. First is the turf with some small stands. We won’t be playing official games there. Second phase is 6,000 seats. Two six figure donations were announced. Fundraising needs to continue.

It’s a priority. Donate if you can. Building in NJ is insanely expensive. Check out what Clemson built for their women’s team for $20MM. Full stadium, weight room, lockerrom, everything.

Our field costs $10MM

Holy crap, 6,000 seats?! OSU’s only has capacity for 2,100 or something.

Thanks for posting.

OSU’s stadium is awesome. It’s way too small for them too at 1,500 capacity.

They sell out big games - aftermarket tickets for the Notre Dame game were around $300 per ticket.

They also got an appropriation from the legislature to help fund it. That is one of the biggest advantages Ohio State has over Rutgers… Almost universal support from the general assembly.
