Lotta interesting scores. OSU is huge. Much rather play them coming off a win like that rhan a loss.

High Point losing to Jacksonville is a bad loss and makes the acc look worse.

Let’s hope Maryland and Hopkins can make it an acc sweep this weekend.

Bottom line is Edelmann is amazing, we have him, and we play a defense that is set up so he can get shots at some distance. He makes amazing saves he shouldn’t, and those the D is set to give him looks at. It’s by design.

Can't say where would we be without Edlemann? Really?

Yes we have him & where would we be without him? And surely it does matter. And it has nothing to do with a fogo. But I forgot you're the only one who knows anything about athletics & will deflect, change the subject, & tie yourself in knots to be right. Man, Maryland is a handful. That team has it all. Dynamic, physical, great situational understanding, and great in the middle of the field with faceoffs and goalie. They are the best team I have seen this year.

Unc isn't helping their cause. They are always supposed to have this crazy talent but look like they just got together for a summer league game.

A face off guy has nothing to do with Edlemann in goal. Different point, but consistent for you. The original post was one that complimented Edelmann & underscored his importance to the team & you took exception to that. Hard to do, but you did it. Typical for your act & one that is getting old. And for your info one of my son's played D1 lax not D3.

Maryland put a beat down on UNC, Virgina beating Hopkins 12 to 9 in 3rd. Good weekend for us. Teams we lost to are winning and ranked. Havent given up on season yet.

We need to keep winning. Next weekend is obviously huge. OSU is a hard place to play and of course, they have a great fogo, which every B1G team does. Hopefully we get our guy back and he can remain healthy. We don't have to win em all, but we have to win some.

Having just played there last year, hopefully make the team more comfortable. Another good week of practice getting better and let it fly.

I haven't seen them play yet, so I really can't comment. Typically, they are a defensive, grind it out team. I am sure nothing has changed there.

ON a side note, it goes to show you just never know with sports. OSU was picked by almost everyone to finish 6 or 5 in the country. Towson had a losing record last year. It just rarely goes as scripted. That's why we play the games.

How are we still ranked? We don’t deserve it.

Look around the land-scape of D1 lacrosse and you'll see that everyone is beating everyone. An odd number of teams have 2-4 losses at this stage of the season, where before so many more teams would be undefeated or have just one loss. It's a weird year. That said, the poll that has us ranked...I dunno if they are really watching everyone play, or checking their scores, before they cast votes. #lazy.

I think are starting to see a few teams breakaway at the top. Maryland is the best team I have seen this year. I have not seen Yale. I have not seen Penn St. I am looking forward to seeing them.

Maryland is Maryland. They look like a pro team. Polished, talent behind talent, and don't make many mistakes. If they lose, you have to beat them.

I saw Duke early and they were out of sorts. They have obviously been playing better so I can't really comment on what they've become.

There are some other good teams out there, but we aren't far off from them. Certainly, it would be competitive.

Hopkins to me is getable. Problem with them is their fogo is awesome, like at every B1G school. We really need to get that position sorted out. Being so below the mean there puts so much pressure on our offense and defense. It's almost like both have to be perfect to win against our B1G opponents.

But, faceoffs are about match ups so hopefully we find one somewhere that favors us.

So any guesses as to the ranking of Ohio State after being Notre Dame and still undefeated currently sitting at 7 and should move up to at least 5. We are likely to play 3 of the top 5 teams in our conference play in the next 5 games.

A couple of great wins in Wrestling tonight. Nice to see.

While daunting, plenty of opportunities to make a statement and move up in rankings. In any other conference at 5-4 I think we would be done. We need to be that 4th team from Big Ten.

Even with the win over ND, Ohio State has played a significantly weaker schedule than the other three teams.

PSU's trigger guy is out with a "lower body injury". He had to redshirt last year because of a foot issue. I wonder what the problem is. Without him, they are still very formidable, but they aren't nearly the same team. He is the engine.
