Mens & Womens Soccer results so far?

I think both teams have played 2 exhibitions so far. Does anyone know the scores of these games? I think I saw that Casey Murphy is on our team again but I thought she was leaving the team for a year to be with the US National team U19 or U20. Does anyone know if she really is back this season for RU? Hopefully both teams can have another outstanding season.

I believe I read in another thread that Casey will be playing for us this year which is great. As far as the girls if our defense can step up we lost a lot from the defense we will be real good again

Spoke with some of the women's soccer players this Tuesday at the men's scrimmage. According to them Murphy will not be playing for Rutgers this year.

Men were 0-0 with Rider after regulation. Then I had to leave. They bested Monmouth 2-0 in their first scrimmage. Believe women lost to Hofstra 1-0. Know they lost to Syracuse 1-0 off a corner in the last 5 seconds.

Men - trying to remember exactly what Danny said to me at the Rider scrimmage but we were down 4-5 guys we expect to start or have serious playing time. He expects most back soon(ish). I thought our passing was excellent, ball control pretty good, D pretty good, just had trouble finishing.

Pretty much agree with your analysis. Though Jason Wright is very, very good, believe he & the team would be better off if he didn't consistently try to beat three defenders who are in his jock.

BTW - I think it's BETTER than Murphy is taking the season off instead of leaving as we reach the NCAA's.

Rider was 0-0 in regulation on an insanely awful weather day. Didn't stay for OT but both sides cleared their benches. Not sure what happened after I left.

Didn't realize it was a 3rd 30 min. period. I knew 2-1 in an OT didn't make much sense.

Difficult coming out of the gate, seven of our First eight games are against ranked teams. The good news is that we should loaded next year. We hopefully get back Sa and Hambleton. Ethan Decker becomes eligible which makes 3 former US Nationsl Team players added
