They might just not be a very good team right now.

I haven't paid much attention to them other than our game and I know they lost to SHU by two but they may be the kind of team that simply plays to the level of their competition. It is not the sign of a good team but there are a lot of teams that play very well against good competition and have WTF games against lesser teams.

Yale is rated one spot higher than us in KenPom (they'll move up after this game win or lose).

This is why I wasn’t too excited about the win. The only team Miami played prior to us was the Hall. Miami would be a bottom half team in the B1G this year. Still a good win, but let’s not get too excited about it

That was a big win for us, especially since it was on the road, but Miami is only a slightly above average team. They were really bad against us although I like to think we had a lot to do with that. However, they didn’t look good against Seton Hall either.

Yale isn't that bad, remember they walked into the secret scrimmage thinking they would handle us

Yale winning doesn’t mean our win at Miami wasn’t a big win. But it’s very possible that our OOC and November schedule could be much easier than we figured. It’s hard to tell right now.

Watched Yale earlier this year blow out an admittedly bad Cal team...they’re no pushovers.

for Rutgers it was a good win, no one can take that away where we are right now. Miami is not going to be a NCAA contender it would appear but any power 5 conference win on the road is an accomplishment.

Said while we were playing them that they weren't very good. SHU isn't very good either but unfortunately we've got them at their place. At the RAC we're a 12-16 point winner.

Technically it wasn't on campus in Coral Gables it was at the American Airlines arena in downtown. Therefore, it was "neutral" site.

Yale already lost to Vermont and Memphis, neither of which are good teams. Their win at Miami certainly detracts from our win there IMHO. Still happy we won at Miami, just probably is not as big a deal as it seemed then.

More like "semi-home" than a neutral site game. The Canes play at least one game each season in American Airlines Arena.

Probably that Yale executed a perfect game plan. Also Rutgers (perhaps SH I didnt see that game) exposed the little gnat at point guard. Up until our game he was giving everyone fits in running that offense and pestering on defense. We took him out of his game and it affected their entire team and game plan

Miami now losing by 9 to Penn in Philadelphia. They're an absolute mess.

Penn(6-2) and Yale(3-2) are two of the top teams in the Ivy, and Vermont(6-3), one of the favorites to win the AE every year, are all good mid major teams.

True, but a top tier ACC team should not lose to them. Miami has some things to work out it seems.
