Man Lipscomb blew it. Was up a few minutes ago and then collapsed. Illinois game still interesting.
Who Maryland lol? Conference is overrated. Everyone knows that. Besides Purdue, anyone else could take 2nd spot. Even Northwestern.

Kiss of death stuff. Let's finish above .500 in league. We do have to play a lot of away games.
Northwestern looked great today. I think they beat Drake by like 30. No easy win. People call Knightline and circle Northwestern as an "easier" road win for RU. No way. That game won't be easy.
Big ten is a very good basketball conference. Saying otherwise is sheer ignorance.

It is good. Obviously. Point is having 6 schools or whatever in Top 25 isn't accurate. Many mid majors just as good or better than these teams, they just don't get the media attention. Not every game on Big Ten Network. This will be proven yet again in March, just like every year.
Study results of Tournament last three or more years. Big 10 overall has done terribly.
Wisconsin and Illinois were the only Big Ten teams above .500 in Big Ten road games last season. Even solid teams do not win lots of Big Ten road games.
So is it very weak or good? What are you trying to say?
That Rutgers should aim for 2nd, because all teams other than Purdue ranked too high. None of those teams is a scary game on paper. RU should believe they can beat all those teams.
