-They are the worst in the B10 on committing penalties (Wisconsin was also horrible before our last game, then had a virtually zero penalty game)
-They are the best in B10 on stopping 3rd down conversions @ only 22% (even when they got demolished by Washington they only gave up three 3rd down conversions)
-They give up the 2nd most yards per completion in the B10
You cannot count on penalties of course, but it certainly will help if we get them.
I looked a little deeper on their conversions. At least against Iowa and Maryland they had NO stops on 3rd and 3 or shorter.
They had a ton of stops, but ALL were on 3rd and medium or long.
