I was watching that game against UNC while texting my buddies that I do not want to see them right now. We'll see where our team is very quickly.

One thing I will say. Izzo knows this team is good and a lock for the NCAA tournament. He would have no issues sitting guys who make mistakes, letting players play through a RU run without a TO, and making sure bench gets good minutes. MSU vs. UNC could be a different team than MSU vs. RU. Playing a close game in a hostile environment could be exactly what Izzo would want out of the game.

We havent been able to compete with MSU mainly because of their speed. What we get from playing them is a very valuable learning experience. Maybe Pikes has us more ready? They are so fast up and down the court. Their defense is suffocating.
