I don't think he is ready to be OC but would he be a good candidate for a different position in the organization? He can definitely coach QBs with experience at Rutgers and the NFL.

or is he eyeing a position as a full time head coach at the hs level?

Mike Teel is the HC in waiting at Bosco, which could be this upcoming season or following season. He's never played or coached the Spread , zone read, read option etc, so probably not a good fit yet for what Chris Ash is hoping to do successfully.
Now if we had a Pro Style offense, he' d probably be a good fit, but he was a GA a few years ago here, and was making peanuts, so he went back to Bosco.
Bouncing around the country w your family as a College Asst can't be easy but seems to be the way most work their way up the ladder.

having Teel at Bosco will only be a plus for Rutgers recruiting for years to come.
