Being that we bounced Minnesota out of the Big Ten Tournament last year, too, he should be getting used to this.
I thought the piling-on responses were hilarious and well-deserving. LaVelle is just clueless about basketball and he deserved the twitter-lashing he just received.
This wasn't even an upset. Rutgers was FAVORED
Even the BTN announcers in the pre-game broadcast said something to the affect of "lets see if Rutgers can pull the upset off at home"
AT least he has blind loyalty to the home team--know any NJ writers like that?
Yeah that pissed me off when they said it but I thought about it more and hey, Vegas had us favored but per the B1G standings, they are in front of us, so you can call it an "upset" to some degree I guess.
