Mississippi vs South Carolina

It's Mississippi State, not Mississippi. You may want to edit the thread title.

An "analysis" of opinion for the MSU vs SC game:

1--I have a love-hate opinion of Cuevas-Moore's game. She has not changed throughout her career. At her best, she can change a game for the positive and be electrifying. Like at times yesterday. Then, at other times, often within the same game--she plays completely out of control and can sink her own team. Dawn needs to be on top the situation with her tomorrow--more than ever. If she starts playing out of control, Dawn must sit her, make her watch the game and realize that she must play in control of herself.
2-the bigs. Wilson will have to deal with McCowan! And McCowan with Wilson! McCowan once again must avoid foul trouble. A'ja is quicker and with so many moves--out high and down low.
3--Davis from SC can't afford another bad game. She threw up bricks yesterday and was as out of control as Cuevas-Moore.
4--Gray--cool customer. Needs to repeat yesterday's performance. A leader.
5-Dawn has freshman guards that played with composure yesterday. Hit some big foul shots. Use them more--if Cuevas Moore and Davis start to throw the game away for SC.
6--Vivians--here is your chance to shine on the national stage. No stupid fouls.
Richardson--Vic has a solid player here. Big part of yesterday's game--and tomorrow's game. Senior leadership.
Blair Schaefer--no need for you to be a hero. Just don't turn the ball over, thank you.
Morgan--wow.

A great final coming tomorrow.
Prediction: close all the way. Four quarter turnovers and bad shots by
SC will give the title to MIss State.

Game on ESPN now. Like both teams, and both Coaches. Hoping for a great game. OTOH, don't know how to edit thread name, sorry for the error.

Does Dawn Stanley ever smile? She seems to have a permanent scowl much like Jim Boeheim.

Wow ... never would have called this at the start if the season.

I didn't really care who won but I'm not surprised at the fact that Mississippi State lost. The incredible high they must have been on after Friday's game probably caused them to lose focus. It's very reminiscent of Rutgers football after the huge win over Louisville in 2006 when the players were sky high for the week afterward from all of the media attention. They never really seemed to touch the ground in the stadium in Cincinnati the following Saturday.
