You see those career rushing stats for Ray Rice and can just imagine what his total would of been had he come back for his senior season.......If he did come back and stayed healthy (conjecture of course) he would of likely easily eclipsed the all-time career rushing record in NCAA history.....Would of been pretty cool to have the all-time career rushing leader.

He just would have needed to hit his three year average of 1642 yds to tie.

Can’t be right. Where’s Jersey Joe Martinek and Chad Bosch ?

Jacki crooks ? WOW that is an underrated guy . He had awful offensive lines and an awful team. He also was suspended for some games. It’s impressive he put up those numbers

Kinda makes you step back and re-appreciate how good Ray was. Sheesh.

Indeed - and defensive players said "stopping Rice" was the priority set by their DCs.
That's how RU passing got all the passing yards between the 20s - DBs played-up tight.
Defenses knew what he would do and couldn't stop it.
Of course the blocking was very good back then.

To those willing to listen, I've often said Crooks was a top-notch back. He gave his all and gave up his body during those Shea years. He's No. 1 on my list of RU players many fans have forgotten about or simply don't know about.
