This one real opens your eyes. Monmouth fell behind by 13 points at Pauley Pavilion with 11 minutes to go & came back to beat UCLA in OT. Robinson scored 20 for Monmouth but was only 6-20 on fg's. Monmouth shot only 37.5% on fg's and UCLA shot only 37.7%. Monmouth made 79.3% of their ft's and UCLA only 63.6%. UCLA did win in rebonding 60-37 but they had over 20 turnover (I think 23 or 24). Monmouth I think only had 14 turnovers. Seaborn from Monmouth who sat out last year added 14, and Hornback a transfer from Oklahoma had 7. Stewart had 19 for Monmouth in a huge game. A freshman, Quinn had 8 for Monmouth. The other scorers, Jones, Tighman and Tillman all played against us last year. I think this game will get our attention when we play Monmouth. This was one OOC game that I told several people I was worried about. We were lucky to escape with a win at Monmouth last year when Myles hit a jumper at the buzzer. I believe our game is right after exams so hopefully we do not overlook Monmouth. I would think we would have their attention. I hope they continue to do well so we focus fully on them when that game comes up.

Great win for their program. You can bet they will be pumped when they come in to the RAC. I hope our team and fans will get up for that game.

There were a lot of P5 programs that lost to "mid-majors" last night, nearly all of them at home. Wisconsin, Illinois, Georgia, UCLA, NC State, among others. And TX lost to Washington in Shanghai.

North Fla is a good mid major-----went to NCAA last year and had a road win at Purdue.

Illini are really banged up.

Monmouth has talent and plays 10 guys.

Fudge. Solid win by Monmouth. They have a good athletic program
