...honestly I'm having a hard time calling our defense a defense because we don't seem to actually defend anything when it really matters, relying more on miscues to escape rather than slamming the proverbial door shut on opponents this year. I definitely appreciate how 1-2 injuries can totally skew a unit's chemistry and performance...but even when we were somewhat healthy earlier this year we saw a lot of red flags that were totally on display that last series today, with the last TD being a demented chef's kiss for every flaw- poor pass rush, even worse coverage, somehow even worse pursuit angles and tackling that makes the 1976 Tampa Bay Bucs look like the '85 Bears.
...that all said, what the actual **** has happened to this unit? Why is the secondary so God awful? For the first time in years I felt awful for the offense, especially AK and Monangai. They deserved so much better today,
