And they are very well coached. There are good young coaches like King Rice out there.

If Sanders is out, it won't even be competitive.Their point guard will eat us alive.

BAC, how do you know even who is playing in two weeks? What if they have an injury?

I'm sure you would be saying that if he was the RU MBB HC and did the same at Rutgers as he did at Monmouth.
1st year : 12-20
2nd : 10-21
3rd : 11-21
4th: 18-15
This is his fifth year and with the ND win has Monmouth with a 3-1 record early in season( only loss was to USC)

You're right King Rice is a good coach and I'm glad the Hawks fans gave him
time to build a good program without claiming he couldn't coach while he was building a program, but not winning games.

if he was the Rutgers coach people would have calling for his head after year 3 as a horrible coach.

no there is a difference. Because when we played them a couple of years ago.down there (and I sat mid court row 5) even because they lost they still out played us. So as many have said OVER AND OVER AND OVER again....it is not always about the W and L's, but HOW you play the game.

Eddie could lose every damn ageme for all I care, as long as we have a team that plays basketball with some IQ, effort, and commitment to the basics of the game.

Hats off to the Hawks---2 wins away from home vs UCLA and ND .

Said it a month ago-------they go 10 deep and play fast.

When the Saar kid shakes off the rust of missing preseason they'll be even better

I watched the RU Clemson game. We actually beat them last year. This year it was a near blowout at times.

Clemson hustled.....threw up off balance shots that WENT in and if there was a loose ball THEY got it.(they also had a decent fan contingent for an away game)

Our guys didnt hustle very often.....seemed unconcerned...and had ZERO sense of urgency. We looked decent in the 1st half.......what changed?

I am a tad disappointed......I keep wondering why RU players..(even decent players like Kadeem Jack)always seem to end up moody.....with deflated confidence, comraderie and production.

We arent good. Thats pretty simple to figure out. Any other questions.

It certainly hasn't happened overnight for King Rice...

Like Rice, year four (2016-17) is the season in which Jordan's team must show some serious improvement.

Agree with that statement, but can understand why some lost confidence in RU MBB ever being a successful program and expect to see major improvement "yesterday" before they start to hope RU MBB will be successful.
It has been a long long time since RU MBB made the NCAA and some RU fans look back on a HC with a 79-75 record with fondness, even if he had losing seasons every other year and never made the Big Dance.
I understand trusting Jordan the way his team looks, now, is hard to do for many RU fans after the program has let them down for so many years.
But I tend to look for light when others only expect darkness and eventually that light will shine through .
I believe Jordan needs this season to set the stage for the progress that will begin to show next season.

It took a Myles Mack jump shot at the buzzer to defeat Monmouth on the road. They out played Rutgers for most of the game. Its hard to believe based on what has happened so far this season that Rutgers will win this matchup because Monmouth has played and defeated quality opponents on the road.
