Monmouth just lost to Army. 91-84

I don't get it. Rutgers is still bad. How does this make you feel any better?

And spoiler alert: we'd lose at Army

Looks like their Cinderella story could be fading, but hope to see the Hawks rebound and have a good enough season to get a Dance invite.

Don't think it's over by a long shot. Army could win the Patriot.

I think you build up good will with wins over UCLA, GTown ND and USC but that's just me.

Rutgers has its own house to clean up. We're creating threads to knock a team from the MAAC? Lol

who said I did? and we are. I was simply posting a fact. You see any smiley faces or stuff.
I actually like them. And they are from Jersey. But they screwed up a game.

get it now?

Agree. Losses to Canisius and Army means the regular season is pointless now. Have to win the MAAC tourney.

It was getting a little old with the hype, bench stuff, etc. And if I'm a Seton Hall fan, I would get tired of reading that they were the best college team in New Jersey.

Army is supposedly a good team this year with tournament potential. I don't think this is as bad of a loss as you think. But Monmouth players and coaching staff have said that winning the MAAC is the way in so their focus is on that. I think they'll do it. Their only real competition is Iona and I guess Canisius if it wasn't a fluke game the first time they met but I expect Monmouth to win the MAAC and get an automatic bid

if they lose too many of these games in the MAAC and trip up in the tourney they aren't going. I think they can afford maybe 2 losses in the MAAC and a MAAC tourney loss but with two "bad" losses already I think things get murkier when you get 3 or more.

Army's 6-10 center Kevin Ferguson (Berkeley Heights, NJ) had a solid outing. 9 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 assist.
