More than a good shot to win.

Lots of naysayers, but the analysis is solid, if we can hold on against the passing game.

My analysis: since our offense excels at not turning the ball over; we’ll probably score almost every time against the soft ACC defense. Conservative estimate 4 TDS and 4 FGs. Korsak will only punt once.

Wake will struggle offensively against Schiano’s loaded defense. If Robb Smith left before the season rather than last week we’d be 9-3 at worst. We’d have probably taken PSU to overtime I am sure.

We’ll play a 1-7 cover 3 defense and will not allow any 90 yard touchdown passes. Not a single one. And since Wake can’t run they won’t even try. Should be easy to keep them out of the end zone.

Rutgers wins easily 44-9 and Jacksonville hires Schiano, who is obviously the best coach to develop Trevor Lawrence into the next Tom Brady. Unlike the Bucs players and fans, the Jaguars will absolutely love Schiano. On day 1 he will make sure the team eats only the permitted brand of eggs and hash browns, and Urban’s legacy will be forgotten asap.

Coming out party perhaps for RB, Wright-Collins. He of the 6’10” high jump in high school… His top end speed may be limited compared to Pacheco but he should be strong enough to run through a lot of arm tackles from future non- NFL players. Wake has one defensive player (Masterson-OLB) on the NFL draft radar for 2022.
