Did anyone receive confirmation in regards to the MSU MSG tickets after making a request last week? I thought we were supposed to hear by 12/10 if/where we were allocated tickets.

Went back to try and look for info in the emails but did not see any.

Thanks in advance.

I have not heard anything

I haven't heard anything either, however I'd bet everyone is good to go. This is what the seating chart looks like currently for general public tickets.

It's not a matter of "if" but "where". The ticket rep told me they are assigning seats within the requested sections by donations/ticket priorities.

I got an e-mail confirmation that my request was received - not which tickets have been assigned.

Separately, that seating chart graphic is interesting - for general public seating: ZERO 100 level sideline tickets available for general public at this time. ZERO corner and in back of hoop 100 level seats on one entire side of the arena available for general public. ZERO 200 level seats in back of the hoop on one side.

But that may or may not mean they are sold, yet - it could just mean that is what has been set aside for season-ticket holders and students, and if not all sold, when the allocations are complete, more seats may be released for general public. For those who are reading this and not season ticketholders, be aware that season ticketholders were permitted to request as many as 4 or 6 seats for the sections 1-12, and up to 12 seats for all other sections.

If that chart is any indication, then somewhere around 45% to 50% of MSG seats are not available for the general public at this time - meaning held for, or already sold to, RU season-ticket holders and students?

Do you guys think its better to buy now on Ticketmaster, i'm seeing lower 200's for like $94 per ticket, or do you think I'd be better off waiting and buying on a secondary market as the game nears?

Another thread stated that a poster was told by the ticket office 2 weeks to until the end of the month.

I started the other thread. I was not happy with the process. I expressed my position to my ticket rep and was basically told tough. I put in a request and have not heard. Was told the ticket office stopped the basketball game allocation process to deal with the football bowl game. Rutgers held off Ticketmaster for an extra day but had to release the tickets. They released sections for general public and will release additional sections when the allocation process is done.

I ordered 8 sideline tickets. For confirmation of sales.

I’ll patently wait for allocation. Not sure what the issue is here by many

I also ordered mine in the season ticket window and was told by Tyler my rep that would hear by this past Monday. Even had it in my calendar. Called yesterday after hearing nothing, and the guy this time (Ceasar) said now we would get them by New Years.

I spoke with my Ticket Rep and she said they would process them next week, after they finish the bowl game allocation. Hopefully, we will know before 12/20.

The game isn't for another 44 days....I swear to God.....WTF does it matter where your'e sitting, for a game on January 25th, when it's ONLY DECEMBER 12TH????

Com'on guys. Get a grip.

where have you been the last 5 years, we have seen a rapid rise in prices of concerts and sporting events. Im doing this one but passing on Pru Center vs Princeton. Pick and choose your battles
Concert prices are OUT OF CONTROL no question. My guess is most, base rate (pre-secondary market), doubled at a minimum (some tripled), post-lockdown (based on my experiences).
